We merge state-of-the-art medical technology, an exclusive eyewear collection and individualized patient service to offer our patients the most memorable eye care experience. We strive to be the best at what we do and would love the opportunity to share our passion of all things eyes with you!

Everyone deserves to see well and have healthy eyes. we want to be able to provide Shelburne and surrounding areas in Dufferin County with the highest standard of comprehensive eye health and vision care, with passion and integrity - and are committed to providing exceptional standards of eye care, in order to deliver a personalized service for each and every one of our patients.
We pride ourselves on taking the time to listen and answer questions at every step of the way. We like to explain every test that we do, and all our findings in order to educate our patients on how to take care of their eyes.

Dr. Krupa Chothani founded Shelburne Optometry in October 2017, with the patient foremost in mind. Our goal is to provide a phenomenal eye care experience and ensure that every patient has customized options for all their eye wellness and eyewear needs. At Shelburne Optometry – we believe in Personalized eye care at every point of the patient experience. We want our patients to have a unique experience from the moment they step in to our clinic. Every touch point with our patients has been given much consideration; It starts with our caring eye care team, continues with our state-of-the-art equipment, followed by comprehensive eye care and is completed with personalized styling with our exclusive collection of popular brands and unique independent frame lines from around the world.

Being able to see is much more than having 20/20 vision – our state of the art computerized digital equipment allows us to detect changes to your eye health earlier than ever before and subsequently manage and treat before they result in any functional loss of vision.
We also specialize in dry eye therapy and treatment and provide in depth assessments with the latest in diagnostic technology to see if you have dry eye, and provide an individual treatment plan that’s right for you consisting of both in office and at home treatments. We offer advanced technology to help manage and treat dry eye disease and take the time to find customized solutions taking a holistic approach.

Community is at the heart of everything that we do. Our logo was designed truly keeping the Town Of Shelburne in mind as we wanted to keep the community at the center. The blue swirl that creates the center of the eye is actually a representation of the official Town of Shelburne sign, where the wind is blowing behind the building in the background. The black pupil represents eye care at the very center as our aim is to raise the awareness of eye health in the community. The seven orange feathers/eyelashes actually represent an extended family – parents, children and grandparents – as our focus is eye care and wellness for the whole family.

We love to give back to the community and are actively involved in local projects including the Giving the Gift of Sight as part of the Shelburne Christmas Hampers Program and raising funds for the Shelburne Splash Pad to name but a few. We also sponsor local soccer teams every year at the Shelburne Soccer Club and support the Shelburne Muskies.
