Our Mission: To promote, enhance, and protect your vision and eye health for life through patient education and new technology. After her first few years of practice, Dr. Jessica Chang noticed her patients often had a poor understanding of the relation between their vision and eye health. Dr. Chang and her team decided to open a practice with the newest technology to help educate patients and detect eye health problems as early as possible. Avenue Eyecare opened its doors to serve the Greater Vancouver community’s eyecare needs from its Kerrisdale location in 2011. Since then, we have received several awards including “PEOPLE LOVE US ON YELP” recognition from Yelp, “BEST EYEWEAR” in the Westender, “BEST PEDIATRIC OPTOMETRIST” on threebestrated.ca, and “BEST OPTOMETRIST” in the Vancouver Courier and Top Choice Awards. Most importantly, we have gained thousands of happy patients who trust us to provide exceptional eyecare year after year. We focus on 2 specialized services: myopia management (including ortho-k, soft multifocal contact lenses, low-dose atropine, and Myopia control glasses) & dry eye management (including osmolarity and meibography analysis, Blephex treatment, iLux treatment, and IPL/radiofrequency treatments).
