Royal City Optometry is looking for a fashion-minded, motivated Eyewear Sales Specialist/Optometric Assistant to join our locally-owned practice in Guelph.
What You'll Do:
Help patients find eyewear they love that suits their lifestyle and vision needs.
Make recommendations, drive sales and deliver exceptional service.
Combine fashion, sales and technical know-how in a role where every day is a little different.
Manage orders, inventory, measurements, adjustments and troubleshooting.
Assist with reception, pre-testing and admin as needed. We’re a close-knit team, and everyone helps out!
What We're Looking For:
Previous sales and customer service experience required.
A passion for helping people look and feel their best.
High attention to detail, strong computer skills, and a willingness to learn.
Initiative, reliability, a positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
Full-time availability during clinic hours (not suitable for students).
Optical experience and the Certified Canadian Optometric Assistant (CCOA) designation are assets, but not required. We can teach optical skills; a strong work ethic and sales aptitude are essential.
