Know the Best. Recommend the Best: That’s the philosophy we take when working with our patients, and it’s how we’d like to help you start your career: practising full-scope optometry with modern technology and a team that wants you to do well.
We’re looking for an associate optometrist for 2–5 days a week, part-time or full-time, across our two southwest Winnipeg clinics.
Why Join Us?
The Opportunity: Our 3-doctor team offers a collaborative, family-style environment, caring for loyal, multi-generational patients. Conveniently located in Southwest Winnipeg, we provide free parking and offer advanced services in vision rehabilitation, sports vision training, myopia management, and comprehensive dry eye care.
Full scope, every day. Your schedule will consist of comprehensive eye exams and also the opportunity to explore the full scope of dry eye therapy, myopia management, and ocular disease.
Mentorship from day one. You’ll practise alongside three experienced optometrists who will help you build confidence and support the clinical interests you want to develop.
Technology you trained on, and more. OCT, Optomap, IPL/RF, Macumira and biometry are all in-house.
A team invested in the profession. Our doctors have led provincial, national and international optometry organizations. We care about where optometry is headed, and that includes your growth.
Real work-life balance. We’re closed on long weekends and on Saturdays in June and July to make sure you can enjoy a life outside of optometry.
Room to grow. Start with the days that suit you, and add days as your patient base builds.
Your Clinical Scope
Dry eye: advanced diagnostics with meibography, plus in-office InMode IPL/RF treatments.
Myopia management: axial length biometry and topography to guide treatment and track progression. We offer myopia management spectacles, soft contact lenses, OrthoK and low dose atropine to our patients.
Ocular disease: We have OCT’s, visual fields and MacuMira technology to support you in the treatment of glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Specialty care: We also offer vision rehabilitation, low vision, sports vision training, and children’s vision therapy.
