Modern Eyes Optometry is an independent, dispensing, full-scope private practice in Georgetown, Ontario with an established, loyal patient base and amazing support staff. We are looking to welcome a part-time associate optometrist who is enthusiastic and eager to practice medical optometry with a side of high-end retail dispensing.
We are a specialized dry eye and myopia control clinic offering IPL and Lipiflow as advanced treatment options for dry eye disease along with orthokeratology for myopia control. Our modern clinic is equipped with EMR, Optomap, OCT, Humphreys-VF, Auto RK/NCT, Topographer, Meibography, Keratopgrah, IPL, Lipiflow. Our clinic also offers genetic testing for macular degeneration patients. Our ethos is to provide exceptional patient experiences so it is important that the candidate is proactive, compassionate and committed to providing this same level of care.
Our clinic is located in Halton with a quaint small-town feel with a diverse demographic of young families, early retirees and seniors. The right candidate should expect to practice medical optometry including managing glaucoma and macular degeneration patients.
The position is available for 2-3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday) with room to grow into a full-time position. Mentoring will be available if the candidate is not currently proficient in advanced dry eye and myopia control management.
