Associate Optometrist Part Time/Full Time

We are a progressive, multidisciplinary, long established group practice with an exceptional team of Optometrists, Opticians and Technicians providing routine and specialty optometric services to a large patient base in central London, Ontario.

Our clinic of 5900 square feet on two levels in a stand-alone medical building encompasses the London Institute for Dry Eye as a designated centre for Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease treatments. We provide Lipiscan/Meibography, Lipiflow and IRPL treatments on site along with BlephEx and Zest. We employ a dedicated Dry Eye Technician/Hygenist along with numerous technicians trained to assist in ocular surface disease management, diagnostics, products and treatments.

Specialty Contact Lens Fitting/Scleral Contact Lenses, Paediatric Clinic Days and Glaucoma Diagnosis and Treatment are all referral-based services within our practice. We have a full time dedicated Contact Lens Technician well trained in both scleral lens fitting support and paediatric contact lens care.

We utilize the latest imaging technology with both Optos Retinal Scanning X2 and Zeiss Clarus Digital Imaging, Zeiss Forum Software System, Humphrey Field Analyzer X2, Zeiss Clarus OCT X3 and B-Scan IOL Master. We have a significant ocular disease patient base and provide multiple co-management services with the Ivey Institute of Ophthalmology at St. Joseph's Health Care Centre located just a few blocks north of our clinic.

In September, 2024 we opened our Medical Optometry Satellite Clinic at the Northwest corner of Colborne Street and Central Avenue just across the street from out main clinic which has allowed for enhanced accessible and timely services for patients requiring more specialized optometric care in addition to routine primary care visits.

The majority of our 28 well trained staff are graduates of the CAO Optometric Assistants Program. We have a number of employees that have been with us for 10, 15, 20 or more years that have become more like family than co-workers. We are known to have fun with numerous formal and informal training and social events throughout the year and though the workdays are busy and complex, our clinic is and always has been a professional and welcoming environment. We boast one of the largest selections of eyeglass frames and sunglasses in the city in our two level optical with an in-house edging lab overseen by our three licensed Opticians.

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual to join our practice of ten experienced, multi-skilled, and congenial Optometrists and Support Team.
